NutriKane
Product photography for science-backed wellness
Nutrikane makes clinically proven health products from sugarcane. Their existing photography was clinical. Too sterile. We brought warmth and natural elements while keeping the science credible.

The Challenge
Nutrikane's products are scientifically proven. Clinically tested. But their photography looked like medicine, not food. White backgrounds. Isolated products. Nothing showing how they fit into actual wellness routines. The brief was clear: make it feel natural without losing the science.

The Solution
We styled the products in real contexts. Morning smoothie prep. Natural wooden surfaces. Fresh ingredients nearby. The product colors (natural oranges and earth tones) worked with the settings, not against them. Each shot shows what the product is: natural nutrition that happens to be scientifically proven.

The Approach
How we balanced clinical credibility with natural appeal through product photography.
From Sterile to Natural
The existing photography did its job. Products were clear, well-lit, professionally shot. But they looked like supplements you'd find behind a pharmacy counter, not natural wellness products you'd add to your morning smoothie.
We kept the product clarity but changed everything around it. Natural light instead of studio flash. Wooden surfaces instead of white seamless. Fresh ingredients in frame to show the food-as-medicine connection. The products became approachable without losing credibility.
Working with Color
Nutrikane's product packaging uses natural oranges and earth tones. We built the styling around these colors. Wooden cutting boards. Natural fiber textures. Citrus accents. Everything reinforced that these are sugarcane-derived, naturally sourced products.
The color palette wasn't just aesthetic. It told the brand story: science meets nature.
Showing Use, Not Just Product
Some shots are pure product. Clean. Simple. For e-commerce and specifications. But the lifestyle shots show context. Someone's hand reaching for the jar. A scoop of powder going into a blender. The product next to a bowl of yogurt.
These aren't staged lifestyle shots with models and perfect lighting. They're real use scenarios that show how natural these products fit into daily routines. Health-conscious consumers don't want clinical. They want credible and approachable. That's what we shot.
