Ipswich Central Partnership
Grassroots branding for community revitalization
Brand identity for a grassroots group bringing central Ipswich to life. Started with the Bell Street cleanup and grew into an ongoing placemaking movement. Built for community members to use themselves.

The Challenge
Ipswich Central Partnership is grassroots. Community members, local businesses, government reps. All working to bring central Ipswich back to life. Bell Street cleanup was launching. They needed a brand fast.
The brand had to be friendly and noticeable. Eye-catching enough for posters and t-shirts. Simple enough that community volunteers could use it without design skills. Recognizable across different events.
Timeline was tight. They needed guidelines, t-shirt designs, and poster templates ready for Bell Street. Then reusable for whatever came next. The brand had to work immediately and keep working.

The Solution
We built a friendly, approachable brand system. Bright, noticeable, community-focused. Professional without being corporate. The kind of brand that works on a volunteer's t-shirt and on posters around town.
Brand guidelines written for non-designers. T-shirt designs for Bell Street volunteers. Poster templates ready to customize. Color specs, logo usage, simple rules. Everything needed to hit the ground running.
Bell Street cleanup was the first test. Community volunteers wore the branded t-shirts. Posters went up around the area. The brand introduced ICP to Ipswich. It worked.
The brand kept going. More placemaking projects across central Ipswich. Different events, same identity. Community members created their own materials using the templates. No designer needed.
A grassroots identity the community actually uses. Multiple placemaking initiatives since Bell Street. Volunteers create their own materials. The brand became a tool, not a barrier.
